What does it mean to be an all play church?
Each gender, every age is encouraged to do the greatest commandment, LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE.
We regularly activate the congregation to participate in the ministry time.
If you are in right relationship with God and the body, you are able to minister here at the church.
If you feel as though you have a word for the body, go to the Pastor or an elder and they will get you to the right person to connect with. Be ready to give the word from the stage if the leader feels it is the right time.
Don't know who to tell? Just ask your neighbor or an usher, they will help you.

This is where you will hear about our core values, our mission and vision, as well as how you can serve here at Summit.
Where you do not have to be a Covenant Partner to serve, we do require the class to serve in the house.
Our Story
Summit Church Wylie was birthed from Christ Our King Community Church in Plano, Texas. In 1999, Randy and Dana, along with their daughters, were sent out to begin the work God had called them to. With a clear "yes" from the Lord, they stepped out in faith to plant a church that would impact generations. More than two decades later, they continue to faithfully give God their "yes" and lead with that same passion and vision.
After a season of gathering in homes, Summit Church held its first public meetings at Southfork Ranch in January 2001. In 2008, Summit became affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Since then, we have continued to witness God move powerfully through our services, ministries, and the everyday lives of our church family.
Over the years, Summit has experienced both seasons of celebration and seasons of challenge.
Through it all, one truth has remained constant: God is good, and He is still moving.
We believe God's desire is to see Heaven come to Earth, both within the walls of the church and beyond them. Our heart is to be a people who encounter God personally and are transformed by His presence.
From that place of transformation, we are sent out to help others experience Him as well.
At Summit, we believe every believer is called to be a "first encounter believer" - someone who has personally encountered God, been changed by His love, and now carries that encounter into the lives of others.
