Summiteers Children’s Ministries

It is our desire for everyone to experience the presence of God in our services. We believe there is no junior Holy Spirit and that no matter your age you can receive and give ministry during each corporate meeting. It is our desire for children to experience the Kingdom of God every time we get together and be trained in the gifts at a young age, so that they will have a life of encounter, experiencing God’s presence.

Those under 5: Our youngest members will have their need met; physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our nursery and preschool classes are available from the beginning of each service, but are not required. We love having children in our services as long as the child is not keeping the parent and/or others around them from hearing the Spirit and participating in Worship.

For elementary age children: We believe children are an integral part of our body and should participate in the corporate worship service and prayer times. Many times they are more in tune with what the Spirit is saying then adults and should have a time for exercising and practicing their spiritual gifts. When it is time for the delivery of the Word, we have a wonderful service planned for them with an age appropriate message, life applications and games. We want to teach our children that it is FUN to serve our God, that He is in a good mood, and that He gives good gifts!
