Greetings From the Jungle!

We pray this letter finds you prospering in this new year! Hard to believe that January is already gone and we’re in February!
Seems like the phrase “so much to do and so little time” describes our life pretty well. We’ve been busy, and we give God all the glory and praise for what has been accomplished.

We had the opportunity to join with brothers in a couple of churches, and do an outreach in the Jungle. We did a reenactment of the life of Jesus, and some of the miracles he did, in the plaza in Santa Tomas. Despite the fact that it rained during the entire program, we had an overwhelming turnout, and an estimated 100 people came to the Lord! We were honored to stand in the rain and watch God work as He blessed the efforts of the entire team. This project really demonstrated how much the body of Christ can do together! You were a part of this work, your donations were used to fund much of this program! We purchased several baskets of food and had drawings at the end of the program. Each person had a ticket with a number on it, (the tickets were free of course), and you had to be present to win a basket of food. I think everyone in the village came, a free basket of food is a pretty good enticement!

Classes have been going great, especially with the addition of Hermanos Oscar and Marissa to our mission. They are awesome teachers of the Word, and a real blessing to us personally! Another group in our Bible School has completed the first phase, and are ready to start phase 2 of the Bible Institute. If you’ll remember, our Bible school is in 3 parts, each taking about a year to complete.

The river here is rising again, it’s that time of year, so we ask once again for your prayers for our brothers who will be moving when the river comes into their homes. For us this way of life seems so foreign, why would you live in a place where you knew the river would force you out of your home each year? For them it is a normal way of life. When the river rises there is always a rise in diseases that come with it. There has been an outbreak of Malaria in the area right behind our house. So we’re praying for God’s protection, that none of these diseases come on our brothers.

We’ve had several water baptisms lately, and another is planned for this Thursday in Santa Tomas. It’s been raining here a lot, far more than is normal for January, and we haven’t been able to get to Santa Tomas for 3 weeks. The dirt road is just not passable. We’re praying for a clear day this coming Thursday, so we will be able to get through. (please include in your prayers, that we not only get there, but that it doesn’t rain while we’re there and we can’t get back

We so thank each of you who partner with us in the work here. We can do so much together for His Glory! If you haven’t had a chance to support this work through your finance and prayers, we would like to invite you to do so. We welcome your help! You may send your tax deductible donations to:

Jesus said to change lives “as you go”. Here is a testimony of another person healed because of a chance encounter Pastor Randy had at the bank.

So it began before we left on our Eastern Europe Mission. I was in the bank taking care of some last minute details when the President of the bank came to greet me limping. I asked what was going on and he stated that he had a cyst or tumor on his foot and it was causing him a lot of pain. He went on to tell me that the Dr. had told him that they would do surgery next week and remove it. We walked in to his office and I asked if I could pray for him and he said yes.
I moved a chair around his side of the desk and sat down asked him to hand me his foot. He said do I need to remove my shoe? He did and I took his foot and began to release testimonies of how God had healed arthritis and cancer. I asked what the pain level was on a scale of 1 to 10 and he said it was a seven. I then released the Kingdom into his foot declaring that this was illegal because there were no cysts, tumors or pain in heaven so it is not to be here on earth.
I then asked him to check it out and he stood up and put pressure on the foot. When I asked him what the level of pain was now his eyes got big and he smiled and said the pain was gone. As I prayed for his foot I felt the cyst reduce and declared that it would completely dissolve before the Dr’s appointment.

Pastor Randy had this exciting encounter over the holidays.

Went home for Christmas break and was told by my brother upon arrival that the had scheduled a prayer meeting with a friend who was going in the next day for back surgery.

We went to pray for Steve M and when we arrived he was in pain when he walked. On a scale of 1-10 he stated that it was a 12. We prayed and had him test it out and he was shocked by the fact that the 12 had gone to a 4. He said, “Now, I am not lying to you, it is a 4, I wouldn’t lie to you.”

Before we had prayed Steve was talking about the surgery and that he had told his wife Kerri that if anything happened while he was in surgery that he wanted her to know he loved her and that he believed in God and hoped he would go to heaven. I asked him if he was sure and he said he didn’t think anyone could be sure. Well, I jumped on that like a duck on a june bug and stated that he could know for sure. Then we prayed for his healing, Jesus healed him and He accepted the salvation jesus died for and became a brother in Christ. What great Christmas present!!!

Pastor Randy had the opportunity to speak at Trinity Lighthouse recently. Here’s the report from his morning there.

At Trinity Lighthouse in Denison Texas I was beginning the message and stated that the healing power of Jesus was in the room to heal this morning, and then released the word that God was healing backs and all who needed healing should stand. 25 stood for healing and instantly 18 were healed. After we prayed several more were healed. After the service a lady came forward crying and saying “It’s gone, it’s gone.” When I asked her what was gone she stated that she had two ruptured discs and there had been a large lump on her backbone and now it was gone! Praise God!!

Jesus also healed COPD this morning. One lady came up and testified that when we released the word for COPD that she was having chest pains and it was hard for her to breath, but when the word was released she was healed!! Pain gone and free breathing was hers now.
